When I created this song in 2006, I had no idea it would be so impactful to so many lives. Zero chance it’s not being played on Valentine’s Day. It’s been the song people play for their first dance at weddings at least three dozen times the past 2 decades, which is still surreal everytime I get those messages and emails. I never even finished writing or recording the second verse, this song almost didn’t make the album. I cringe listening to it, but I’m thankful I recorded the early stages of falling in love at that time, and it’s helped bring so many couples together.
