Wtf, @zora updated the app to default to seeing peoples activity feed first on creators profiles instead of creators actual profiles haha, at the same time my following feed is a bunch of accounts I don’t follow again collecting slop. How you guys leaned so fast & far into purposeful enshitification, & keep moving like you’re also behind windows 11. It’s never ending anti creator and anti normal human design & been like a 2 year experiment/lesson on how to build an app specifically to control & influence distribution in a way that feels bad immediately & in perpetuity for creators & anyone just using the app. I’ll never understand this fear of going back to design when users & creators genuinely loved the experience and sung your praise. This force fed Nikita curation is so embarrassing. I’ve been quietly posting regularly to my 3k followers and not reaching a single one, and just accepting it unbothered. But obfuscating people’s work on their profiles & replacing it with the activity feed default, ontop on being force fed zora stars, that feel like platform created ai alt accounts flooding my activity with cartoon Bitcoin icons that look like they were spun up in the earliest of version of midjourney. Ya’ll deserve a public flogging from mid evil farmers and towns folk…. Just a shameful spanking haha. Absolutely no reason to move like Microsoft, Elon & Bezos.. literally no AD justification, or stock driven board of members to justify how anti user this app has been since pivot. The most epic fall from grace & 180 from core values I’ve ever witnessed. I’m positive if you just created an app with the same fundamentals as the og platform, and gave people a contrast to web2 pain points. The platform would have been successful at onboarding and retaining real humans. The irony of being force fed the platforms curation, is it just high lights how little real humans actually use the platform. I can’t for the life me understand these choices But such is life. Woosa.
