"adoption will stall unless blockchain becomes invisible to users"
This pull quote sums up what I've been saying for years.
So much of how this space tries to appeal to people outside of the crypto bubble is marred by devs putting the tech ahead of the problem its supposedly solving.
The consumer doesn't care about if its on the blockchain, if its decentralized, if its part of web3 or if its immutable or trustless. Not saying these aren't important to some, but they are secondary attributes to what the service/product is doing for the end user.
This is why stablecoins have taken off the way they have. Without any understanding of how the tech works, it's value is obvious; the ability to move money globally, more freely.
Before anyone builds an onchain app, they should understand the basics of positioning in relation to marketing, then maybe more traction will be gained.
