Spent the evening digging into ERC-8004 and convinced it’s a solution in search of a problem. The use-case it claims to “fix” is already handled cleanly off-chain, so why bring extra complexity and bloat on-chain? Feels like another episode of Ethereum inventing on-chain busywork just to stay in the headlines while forgetting it's roots.
