Had coffee with a programmer friend yesterday Said he hasn't tried Claude Code, only uses GPT I asked if he's using Codex - What's Codex? Said he uses CHAT GPT When he needs it to write a piece of code, he prompts it in the chat UI then copy pastes the piece of code Said he never used AI in a terminal and never had AI touch his codebase bc he prefers to have full control I don't think he understands how much control he's about to lose 💀 This conversation has been stuck in my head for the rest of the day
