逐暖而居
上周出差的最后一站是武汉。周末的江城阴雨绵绵，气温下降到6度左右。我裹着大衣打着一柄小伞，在水汽弥漫的东湖边找寻一碗传说中的热干面。武汉这城市来了五六回，见过樱花飞雨、梅香四溢，也听过编钟声响、勾践剑鸣，着实已经熟悉。敝薄粗陋、名士风流，是这城市矛盾又美丽的景致。 倒是没想到，武汉一周前的雨云终于飘到了南国，这个周末开始淅淅沥沥，至今未歇。我本就是讨厌寒凉的人，这种天气更是缩在大披肩里昏昏欲睡。迷迷糊糊地想，南国的冬天，也是要来了吗？ 想起在家乡和北京度过的那么多个冬天，印象最深的是渗进骨头里的冷。家里似乎还好一点，在北京那么多年，每年供暖之前、结束供暖之后的一个月最是难熬。在帝都我才知道，“风刮在脸上如刀割一般”居然不是个比喻，而是真真切切的写实。所以发现南国是个没有冬天的地方时，就想赖在这温暖里，哪儿都不想去。 生活总是会面临变革，从北到南的过程里，从现在到未来的时间里。好在人总是在变革里成长的，逐渐会找到属于自己的路。 逐暖而居，砥砺前行。

As it turned out we went to lunch several times, and she always wore a hat during the meal. I think that treatments of some sort had caused a lot of her hair to fall out. We shared things about our lives. I told her about my schooling and growing up. She told me that she had worked for years for an insurance company. She never mentioned family, and I did not ask. We spoke of authors we both had read, and it was easy to tell that books are a GREat love of hers. I have thought about her often o...
