That's cool - Oracle’s plan for AI finally took shape. 🚨
It always felt not complete - all the news about oracle investing and lending infrastructure to frontier labs - but now it makes totally sense.
They were getting ready for this …
So Oracle just launched something they call AI Database 26ai.
Why is that cool?
Well, it lets the top AI models, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Llama reason directly over a company's private data, without that data ever leaving the vault.
And we all know that the real competitive advantage in AI comes from data - and there are many corps with tons of data they didn't know how to use.
Oracle is using a technique called RAG, Retrieval Augmented Generation. Has been around some time but waiting for sensible use-case.
Now it has one right here with Oracle which houses more private company data than probably any other database company. 🤯
