based evening everybody! lemme give you a recap of my day 😁 so we went on our 2nd class field trip today. we visited the local abattoir and the veterinary teaching hospital. it was so fun, although i hate road trips cause i get serious motion sickness 😭 anyhoo, we saw how meat is prepared for human consumption and omg guys i saw a cow get processed in real time 💔 also saw real life examples of how to detect zoonotic diseases (like tuberculosis) from the animal parts and how they're processed and sorted out the vet hospital was pretty cool. got to see the animal surgery room, x-ray room, the ward, and then i saw some pets that came in. they were so cuteeee 🥹 that's all for today. tomorrow is another field trip day 👍🏻
