About to choose a design studio for your first rebrand or campaign?
This can be a tough decision, especially if you haven't had the chance to gain this experience in a previous role.
Here's my basic advice for founders and business owners that will hopefully make your next design project a success.
1. Judge the book by the cover👀
Have they put time into their own identity and website, are their past projects strategic and distinctive? Have they won awards in design/branding/advertising?
2. Schedule a meeting 🗣️
Meet with the director, account manager or design team in person or virtually. This will give you a chance to explain your business and brand goals with the studio. It’s also a good time to get a feel for the type of people you’ll be partnering with.
3. Ask for official proposals/quotes📝
This is a great chance to see if each candidate is capable of taking on the project and ensures they’ve understood the major goals, problems and deliverables.
Hope this helps✌️
