Matheus Nunes comeback should be a lesson to everyone one of us, work in silence and let the results do the talking.
He was signed as CM from Wolverhampton in 2023 but things didn't go as planned for him, constantly getting benched and wasn't impressive in the few minutes he was given by his coach. He didn't complain, no public statements, no playtime drama, he just worked silently.
Fast forward to ending of last season when City had right back issues, the coach tried him there and he grabbed the opportunity immediately scoring the winner that sealed City's spot in the UCL for this season, today he's one of the best fullbacks in the world and has been nicknamed "Cafu" by City fans and is very important in this new Pep Guardiola rebuild.
This should be a lesson to us all, when others lose faith in you, don't lose faith in yourself π
