The Federal Reserve’s tracking of key inflation measures, released Wednesday, showed higher prices than expected, with the Producer Price Index (PPI) jumping 0.7% in February, the most since last July. In the twelve months through February, Lucia Mutikani of Reuters reported, the PPI went up 3.4%, the fastest rate of growth in a year.
