This is a very interesting take. I have been thinking if money (seen as an information system for organizing society/trade/value) is necesary for much longer given advances in machine intelligence. Ive been meditating on Buckminster Fuller's World Game and trying to imagine different ways it could be implemented or at least used as inspiration to what a post AGI/Superintelligence Singularity economy could look like. And here is Vitalik, coming at it from out of left field imagining something in that ballpark but using casinos to get there. Lots of food for thought.
