LindyMan wrote a great essay about how men dress poorly because there's no standard expectation for mens clothing any longer.
Men don't want to think about their clothes. They do want to look "right," but there is no answer about what's right.
So! I wrote a spec! It delineates the context for clothes and the basics of what should be seen as acceptable in each context.
The core idea is blazers and better shoes.
The larger idea is that it's a way for responsible men to signal their allegiance to the brotherhood of other responsible adult men.
