Palestine has a literacy rate approaching 97 percent. It built world-class universities inside refugee camps. It produced engineers, doctors, and legal scholars under military occupation. Its poets were considered dangerous enough to assassinate. Its archives were seized. Every university in Gaza has now been bombed to rubble. And the most educated, most politically conscious, most legally literate occupied population on earth is still standing.
