One of the biggest reasons we haven't seen an explosive runner that holds higher market caps in todays environment simply boils down to patience
It took Moodeng almost 4 days of consolidating between 10-30M before it went for it's next leg to 50M and then another 3 days to consolidate there before higher
It then went straight up for another almost 2 weeks before a retrace, and ultimately pumped again even higher. To capture the entire move for a "viral" trend took over 2 months from launch to peak.
A week in today's trenches feels like a year in the old trenches - people used to hold things and not rotate into weak narratives 24/7 looking for quick flips
The lesson is simple - if you have conviction, hold a bit. Set levels you want to add at or cut at. Don't get too emotional staring at the chart. If you want higher, help work for it. Don't get impatient.
I am personally holding a large bag of $punch because I think it's going through a similar consolidation as Moodeng initially did. The monkey is only getting more viral and as more videos come out, people are becoming even more attached to the animal.
If it doesn't work out, then oh well. IMO we haven't seen an animal this loved and talked about by people for over a year now, and I'm willing to bet on it.
