Eyes on Paris–Nice 🇫🇷 Stage 05…
Yesterday wasn't much of a fight... it was chaos, crosswinds, crashes, and Ayuso going down at 70 km/h on a wet descent. Incredible that he walked away without a fracture, but his race was over.
Vingegaard didn't miss the chance and now leads in yellow.
Today there are three nasty climbs stacked in the final 35km into Colombier-le-Vieux, which make me think I'll be watching the GC group at the front as soon as the road kicks up. Particularly Vauquelin, who finished yesterday with a fire in his eyes and he'll be looking to make his mark on home roads in his first season with Ineos.
