Invitation rules are strict, so I prefer offering them to serious and credible users. Ethos protects the quality of its network by strictly limiting invitations. When a member invites someone, both accounts become temporarily linked: the inviter shares the consequences of the reputation of the person they brought in. This system encourages users to invite trustworthy profiles rather than unreliable ones. During this period, the inviter can benefit if the invited user behaves positively, or be penalized if their actions damage their credibility. After this phase ends, both users’ scores evolve completely independently
