Sheesh. It’s expensive to run an agent.
Built an Openclaw agent Friday.
Originally set it to run on Opus because that’s what I use to code Giftr.
I have it connected it to Farcaster, Bankr, Telegram. Haven’t had it run anything too complex. Mostly just setup stuff, personality tuning, Telegram convos, experimenting with building out a FC presence, connected to the Spotify API to learn more about my music/podcast preferences.
All of that blew through $50 in credits in a day.
So I switch to Sonnet which is better but it still ate thru a bunch of credits. It doesn’t yet feel economically viable to keep this thing on all the time.
If you are running an agent, how are you managing the costs? What model are you using?
