Basically obsidian is the best markdown renderer you can find and it comes with a ton of plugins & automations so you can really go deep with it if you want.
This particular vault I have setup for my substack

I use Claude code subagents for a couple things :
- Leveraging subagents in parallel for research
- Created a claude skill that helps me make article flow better based on writing & blogs I like reading, while keeping my voice
With this terminal plugin, makes it super clean to have all in one window.
Yes you could do the same in a IDE but it’s built for code whereas obsidian is built for markdown
