Elara was a little girl who lived on a dusty, quiet planet. Her job was to watch over the last song from the Old World. Long, long ago, all the songs and stories were forgotten. Elara's song was the only one left.

She kept it safe inside a shiny, stone box. Every night, as the big orange sun went to sleep, Elara would open the box and listen. The song was like a tiny, gentle light. It was happy and a little bit sad all at once, like a hug when you miss someone.

One night, a small, lost star floated down from the sky. It was scared and flickering. "I can't remember my song," the star whispered.

Elara smiled. She took the stone box and held it up to the star. The little light from the song moved from the box and into the star. The star began to glow brighter. It remembered its own song, and it began to sing! The star's new song was bright and sparkly, like tiny bells.

The star danced happily back into the sky. It was no longer lost. Now, the planet was not so quiet. Every night, Elara would listen to her special song and think of all the new songs the stars were making. And she knew that as long as she had her song, no one would ever be truly forgotten.
