搬瓦工 SSH 密码忘了怎么办？搬瓦工 root 密码忘了怎么办？首先，root 密码其实就是我们通过 Xshell 等 SSH 软件远程连接 VPS 时填写的连接密码。因为是用 root 用户登录的，所以也可以称为 root 密码，也就是说 SSH 密码和 root 密码可以看做是一个东西。我们购买完搬瓦工 VPS 后，搬瓦工会默认生成一个 root 密码，然后通过邮件发送给我们。如果我们忘记了这个 root 密码或者因为某种原因需要更改 root 密码时，那么我们可以通过搬瓦工提供的 Root password modification 功能一键重置这个密码。

因为搬瓦工的 Root password modification 一键重置 root 密码功能是由自家的 KiwiVM 控制面板提供的，所以我们需要登录对应 VPS 的 KiwiVM 控制面板后才能进行操作。
注意：重置 root 密码之后，我们会获得一个新 root 密码，旧 root 密码会立即失效。
登录 KiwiVM 控制面板后，因为重置 root 密码时需要 VPS 是开机状态，所以如果 VPS 不是 Running 状态，我们就需要点击 start 进行开机。
一般来讲，开机后等待 15~30 秒左右 VPS 就能正常运行了。按照下图所示，我们继续点击左侧的 Root password modification 来到重置 root 密码页面，然后点击 Generate and set a new root password 即可生成新的 root 密码。
等待 2~5 秒，我们就能获取到新的 root 密码。一定得保存下来。
如果点击 Generate and set a new root password 后出现以下信息，说明 VPS 当前没有开机，我们在 Main controls 里面将 VPS 开机（start）即可。
