If there is anything I love so much is the beginning of an event, most especially the beginning of a love story, the beautiful remarks coated severely in affection. For other events, it's the hope, the anticipation that does it for me.
I think that's one reason, why people love to watch kids do random stuff. The innocence that their body actions depict is beautiful. The hope. Yes, the naivety that comes with their effortless wanderings.
We can liken this scenario to the beginning of almost anything. The new admission, the beautiful pain of long, crowded lecture halls. The cheerful night tales of how difficult the day was. Then comes middle year and final years and those tales turn to bitter grumble and anxiety about what next after school.
For my dear new lovers, it starts with the sweet nothings, the hope of finding that one person that satiates all your unending desires and how this new person is THE ONE. lol. Then comes the mid-relationships that uncover the dirt and pain of commitment and compromise. The teary nights after the maybe, 3rd fight in a row. The very uncomfortable discovery of the ugly pasts. The realization that your ONE AND ONLY is as normal as your next-door neighbour.
For the creatives, my very enthusiastic creatives. The beginning of a course is one I can pay to watch every damn time. How you marvel at the 'magic' of your tutor. The self promises that you're on a goldmine skill. The sweet joy that comes from going to YouTube and you can't seem to contain your joy of seeing thousands of folks just answering that your particular questions in different tongues and languages. The magic that you perform with your newfound skills. Then comes, sooner rather than later the talks of saturation in your chosen field and how to stand out, you must do A, B, C, don't forget D, hope you're prepping for E and on and on and on. The dwindling spark in your eyes when you realize you have almost been scammed.
I don't know what triggered this but seeing my ex play lovey-dovey with her maybe new man is funny. I'm sitting outside waiting for my PC to cool down after countless freezing from running basic software.
Na so I go take be world-class? Lol
