Argh! Those off-the-shelf sedatives alleviate the electrical under-buzz but help zero with the shocks that run through my shoulder when I twist it in a way that does not seem to be allowed.
It was one day before, my right hand leaped for that boulder around the corner. My right held it with religious conviction till the left hand in a swing was able to reach it too. I started mid-way, so it didn't count, half contented. Nevertheless, the leap activated a natural sedative that ran through my body that as a consequence left me unaware of the shoulder's tear. So I kept going.
Only at sunset did I catch myself not being able to move my arm away from my body. Jolts of electricity tightened my muscles until exhaling the tension through my mouth. It didn't take long before I figured out what must have been the cause. If only I had stopped right then and there the injury would not have been what it is now.
After finishing the route I did feel that move had injured me somewhat. But I was with my older brother. He paid for the ticket and we were only a half hour in. Surely I wouldn't let a little discomfort ruin the time we spent together? What could have been two weeks of recovery is now probably triple.
