What is a woman? How can I become a better woman?

As a girl, when growing up, I asked, I questioned, I doubted, I interacted with others and followed female idols to answer these two questions countless times. Beauvoir said, “One is not born, but rather becomes, a woman.” Also, she said “Women's misfortune lies in being surrounded by almost irresistible temptations. Instead of being asked to make progress, she is only encouraged to slide down to bliss. When she finds that she has been fooled by a mirage, it is too late, and her strength has been exhausted in the failed adventure”.

In a men-dominated world, I do find many temptations and traps of women's growth, which easily led to young women's loss, heartbreak, confusion, and even loss of life sovereignty when they had not yet formed their self-stable values.

But I also find a huge room for women. Women have natural beauty: we are sensitive, soft, well-meaning, full of vigorous creativity and vitality. At the same time, I also find that women break away from their inherent roles and look for more characteristics and possibilities in themselves. I am often moved and shocked by the beauty and power shown by either my female friends or role models.

Women’s world has been improving, but it is far from enough. I know that there are still many places where women have no sovereignty or even human rights. As a woman, I will support, help and promote the society to accept women as complete individuals without hesitation. Women support women. At the same time, dear male fellows, we also need your understanding and support, as well as solid and powerful actions. The sexes are never antagonistic. we support each other.

After growing up for so long, I found that my original questions had changed. I'm still asking "what is a woman?", and now I'm discovering all its possibilities. The second question becomes "How to be a better person?" Beauty comes from diversity. Diversity is strength.
