Enough is enough

I, like many of you, am a trader by heart. I’m not in it for the tech, almost no one is, and don’t believe those who say otherwise.

I love the rush, the adrenaline, the long hours staring at charts, discussing tokenomics, the steep green climbs and the disheartening red ravines. The automated pancakeswap sound effect when checking the price of your newfound BSC casino token, the one that will finally bring the lambos, or at least make up for all the past rugpulls you’ve suffered before. Make it all back in one trade, a thousand wallets claim with hope.

Unless that last token never really locked liquidity, unless you get scammed by the upteenth ObamaHentaiShibaDiamondInuCowboyDogecoin, all copies of copies of flavour-of-the-week’s code, itself a fork of one of the many coins that rose and then were forgotten.

I’ve had enough of gambling, now it’s time to slow down and learn, time for building back better, time for actually understanding what I’m betting on. It’s time to actually be in it for the tech.

I couldn’t afford to keep playing anyway.
