I’m a visual artist that works on paper, textiles and collage. I live and work in Marin County, California. The landscapes here provide much inspiration for my work; I love documenting and learning about the species that inhabit this land on my daily walks through nature. It is also from these very walks that I have noticed the many facets of our impact on the earth, and ultimately the not-so-subtle impacts from climate change/catastrophe. It is not by coincidence that my work explores an imagined world of biological forms and scenes after the age of man, or the “Post-Anthropocene”. My drawings and sculptures explore the Post-Anthropocene impacts to ecologies, forced evolution, and hereditary lines/ancestry.
