To get started with the Olive Testnet, follow these steps:
Visit the Olive Testnet (https://www.oliveapp.finance/) website.
Click on the "Connect Wallet" button.
Enter your invite code. You can obtain your code by tweeting to @0xOlive or joining the #Invite code (https://discord.gg/oxolive) channel in the Discord (https://discord.gg/oxolive) community.
Use the invite code "LYFmadeEasy" for exclusive access.
Once you're connected, you can explore Olive Finance's vaults, which are designed to auto-compound returns and offer borrowing opportunities. Here's what you can do within the vaults:
Deposit: Add assets to the vault. Visit Olive Vaults (https://www.oliveapp.finance/vaults/) to deposit.
Withdraw: Retrieve assets from the vault.
Manage Position: Adjust and optimize leverage within the vault.
Olive's lending pools operate similarly to Aave's over-collateralized lending model. Depositing assets will earn you aTokens, representing your supplied assets. If you borrow assets from the vault for leverage, you'll receive dTokens, which indicate the debt.
To deposit assets:
Click on "LEND" and you'll be redirected to the USDC pool.
Enter the amount of USDC you want to deposit, and you'll see the corresponding amount of aTokens.
Click "Approve," set the USDC limit, choose your preferred gas fee payment method, and finally click "Deposit."
