The Moonlit River

Beneath the silver moon, the river flows so wide,

A gentle breeze whispers secrets as the tides glide.

Old fishermen sing songs of journeys long past,

While stars above in the quiet sky are cast.

A lone boat drifts, carrying dreams light and deep,

Where memories and hopes in the water sleep.

The night holds a promise, serene and so clear,

That dawn will bring joy and banish all fear.
