Axie Infinity is part of a revolutionary setup of games: A gamefi, also known as a “play-to-earn” technology based on the blockchain, in the free will of the players and in the sense of property(NFTs). With more than 9 million players around the world, Axie is the most famous nft game, and one of the more lasting - founded in 2018.

The gameplay is structured in PVP battles - turn game like pokemon against another players- and PVE adventure - battle against the computer - which gives to the players rewards in Experience (PVE) and SLP (PVP). In a mathematical point of view, for an nft game to be sustainable and to endure over the long term, there must be more players putting in money than taking out. The longer Axie resists and the more features are added to the universe (like the lands), the greater the chances of the game establishing itself globally and surpassing the "hype" status that many new nft games acquire, where players will start playing for fun and not just to make money.

In this moment, Axie Infinity no longer use the Ethereum blockchain, but the Ronin, a Axie Infinity sidechain with the main goal of lowering the fees and giving more autonomy to the community.
