Before I drop an article with an analysis of Arbitrum (one of the most promising upcoming retrodrops), it would not be superfluous to build a plan of our actions to increase the chances of getting a drop from almost any chain from the Layer 2 category. We will build our strategy on the basis of the most famous and fat drop in this category - Optimism. Optimism is a layer 2 blockchain, optimistic rollup, a layer 2 solution for Ethereum, blah blah blah and all that. You've read about it a million times already. We are also interested in the following. Optimism in June 2022 distributed a very fat drop and invented a new system for distributing tokens through retrodrop - multipliers.

The drop was received by users who fell under the following six criteria:

Two criteria for users of the Optimism blockchain. - Users of Optimism. The address is connected to Optimism from L1 (Ethereum) in the early stages, or using the Optimism network for more than one day (at least 24 hours between the first and last transaction) and interacting with daaps on the network. Reward: 776 OP Tokens. - Active users. Made at least one Optimism dapps transaction in four or more separate weeks. Reward: 1692 OP tokens. And four criteria for active users of Ethereum and other L1 blockchains. - User Snapshot.

The address has either voted or created at least one proposal online or at least two in Snapshot (offline). Reward: 271 OP tokens. - Gnosis Safe users. The address is the current owner of one of the signatures that has completed at least 10 transactions in all time. Reward: 1190 OP tokens. - Gitcoin donors. The address made a donation through L1 Ethereum. Reward: 555 OP Tokens. - Users of other L1, L2. Addresses that interact with other EVM L1 blockchains and L2 solutions, but still perform transactions on the Ethereum network every month, at least two transactions per week. Reward: 409 OP Tokens. All criteria, under which the user fell, are summed up among themselves.

Also, addresses that fell under 4 or more criteria at the same time were rewarded with an additional bonus - a multiplier.
