In a slum in Rio de Janeiro, there is a boy who likes football very much, but can't afford it, so he kicks plastic boxes, soda bottles, and coconut shells picked from garbage cans. He kicked in the alley, in any clearing he could find.
One day, when he was kicking a pig's bladder in a dry pond, he was seen by a football coach. He found that the boy was kicking like that, so he offered to give him a football. The little boy played even harder when he got the football, and soon he was able to accurately kick the ball into a bucket placed at random in the distance.
When Christmas came, the boy's mother said, "We have no money to buy Christmas gifts for our benefactors. Let us pray for our benefactors."
After praying with his mother, the little boy asked his mother for a shovel and ran out. He came to the garden in front of a villa and started digging a hole.
Just when he was about to dig, a man came out of the villa and asked what the child was doing. The little boy raised his sweaty face and said, "Coach, Merry Christmas, I don't have a present for you, I would like to. Dig a hole for your Christmas tree."
The coach pulled the little boy up from the tree pit and said, I got the best gift in the world today. Come to my training ground tomorrow.
Three years later, the 17-year-old boy scored 21 goals in the sixth World Football Championship and won the gold cup for Brazil for the first time. A name that was not known to the world before - Bailey, then spread all over the world.
