People are impatient and want to get everything ASAP.
This is also true for learning. When you start learning something new, you imagine that after just a few lessons you'll become a ‘PRO.’
But, of course, this doesn't happen. You don't get the expected results, so you start thinking that you have no talent for 'something' and you quit.
It's ok, but next time, try to be a little bit more patient, and you'll see that progress, even if small, but still there. You just need time to reach a high level of mastery.
Remember, you learn even when it seems like you don't.
Example?
Start learning a basic dance move called the 'Arm Wave.' Not only because you will later be able to impress your friends with it by filling the awkward pause that occures when the internet goes down at a party, but also because you can practice it at home, which is very convenient, and YouTube has plenty of free educational videos.
So, practice it for 10 minutes daily for about a week or something, preferably filming what you do.
Compare what you had in the beginning with what you got a week later.
No, you're not gonna make any fascinating progress. But, you'll notice that your movements have become more plastic and aesthetic. And if you keep practicing for a few months, you'll be able to start making your own educational videos.
No matter what you take on, in the beginning you're going to be like a 1-year-old trying to make his first steps, and that's totally OK. But, the more you practice your craft, the better you become at it.
Choice is yours.
