We originally planned to imminently release our first competition to officially open our Discord and public rollout of the project. However, in light of recent events, we decided to hold off for now out of respect to the community. Our thoughts go out to those in Ukraine. Instead, we will reveal some of our plans here on Mirror so you can appreciate the scope of the project.
With 0xWRLD, we do not limit ourselves only to the NFT market. This project will reach the entire crypto sphere. We are exploring how we can provide a playable experience via characters, collectibles, pets, land, and in-game utility to enable tokens, DAOs, and exchanges. You will be able to learn more about all of these in the future but in short, we are not limiting our Pixelverse to just NFTs.
Let’s take a sneak peak into the ecosystem that we are building with this game and how we will use data from the alpha launch to better sculpt the game component releases that will take place throughout the year.
Playtime, distance travelled, and interaction with NPCs and other players will be tracked during the alpha testing phase. This is done via our wallet connection system. This information will connect your gameplay experience with the official Discord, reward roles, and eventually social interactions far beyond that. The information will also contribute towards leaderboards down the road which carries with it even more associated rewards! You will witness gamification at its finest.
Eventually, this data and everything surrounding the game will be used to build the economy of 0xWRLD. We are using the playable alpha to build models and explore the construction of something much greater than just a game. Our vision is an enjoyable, play to earn, deflationary Pixelconomy.
0xWRLD is a world built pixel by pixel. Your proudly owned plot of land? Pixels. The wide range of rare in-game collectables? Pixels. Catching the train from Byzantium to go home? Priced in Pixels.
Pixels aren’t just dots on the screen in the traditional sense. Pixels (PIXL) form the currency in 0xWRLD.
1 x Sofa = 300 pixels. 1 x Kettle = 50 pixels.

To expand your land and increase the size of your customizable plot, you would need to buy neighbouring tiles from other players. The intrinsic value of your NFT land isn’t determined just by market floor price, but also what level of expansion you’ve added.
Just like real life right?
Your actions in-game will be rewarded with PIXL.
Every day you get 1000 PIXL for logging in. Complete daily tasks/goals to claim more PIXL – we will start off from first party quests, but can you imagine future quest partnerships with other NFT and crypto projects? We can ;).

The PIXL reward you can acquire has an associated multiplier. There are various means to increase that multiplier – spend more time in the game, travel across more distances, do more quests, find rare collectibles, farm land plots, participate in the Discord community! The Pixelconomy has no boundaries.
Don’t have time to do any of that but want to be a whale and act like a whale? Buy someone else’s PIXL at fair market price. Let’s be clear, PIXL is not a security, it is an in-game currency. But just like NFTs have a fair market value defined by the community, so does PIXL. Pay to play is a fully valid option. Participate in the secondary market for PIXL, nice clothing, rare pets, and land improvements all you like!
This is our vision for a true P2E experience.

0xWRLD is built with Pixels. Every item, clothing, accessory, and pet will be valued in PIXL. That said, unspent PIXL have a decay time unless converted into an item or used in-game. Think deflationary economy.
The more PIXL there are in unspent circulation, the fewer PIXL are spawned from quests, farming, daily rewards, etc. which results in lower regeneration, creating a real supply-demand economy.
People love customization and the freedom to build their own space. Being able to build your land and decorate it with a catalogue of items available to everyone is great for creativity however if we're trying to establish a true supply-demand economy we need to build it in a way a successful player can be distinguished from a less equipped player (whether this is because of time or money). Habbo hotel was a great example of this, players gravitated to hanging out in rooms built by wealthy players, better items, rarer items (creativity was expensive back then).
This is a playground to exercise your creativity and make a world that is truly yours. Hang out with people you like, showcase your collectibles or NFTs from any projects you love. Meet friends, exchange ideas and items, build and live in the best pixelverse. 0xWRLD welcomes YOU.
