Doxxed or anon?
Anoxx … I’m probably in between - I’m wary of disclosing everything, but not overly paranoid either.
What’s the story behind your favourite NFT?
The Currency project by Damian Hirst still has me in it’s orbit. It’s over 12 months in - which is a long time in web3 world, but still a daily joy to be a part of.
If money were no object, which NFT would you buy?
Aside from ‘Dogshit’ - which I think is many people’s favourite Currency title, I’d buy a Punk for the historical significance.
How did you get into the NFT space?
Heni. I’m a fan of the editions Heni produce, their seamless venture into NFTs made this inevitable. I’m truly thankful I fell in under their umbrella, the investment and infrastructure Heni put in is outstanding, I can see that now having experienced a lot of other shoestring projects.
How much time do you spend in Web3 on an average day?
I’m actually pretty disciplined, my family & health are my priorities so web3 fits in around those. I’d be lying if I said I’d never set the alarm for a 4am mint, but I manage my time on discord - to the community I probably come across as rude - drop in, start a chat and leave without finishing the topic … I’ll apologise for that!
How did you come into The Heni community and what interests you most?
I joined the discord after I’d been allocated a tender - it felt a very natural community to be part of, sharing the experience of the project was, and still is a real privilege.
I learned so so much from the community and the mods, having that progress into friendships and meeting the people behind the discord was an utter highlight of this year at the studio visit.
What’s the play? DHC? GE? MAD C? EMPRESS? PHYSICAL ART?
I’m from a physical art background - my mother exhibited at Royal Academy a few times so I can’t get away from the physicality of art, but that serves as a foundation for my own excitement at the potential for the NFT space. I don’t see them as conflicting. I am a huge GE fan, the airdrop launch of this collection went under the radar despite the Drake cover. I am on the hunt to expand my GE collection for sure.

What would you like to see most as Heni and its NFT business evolves?
Core strategy. There is so much new stuff around it’d be easy for Heni to get distracted and use their name to explore multiple avenues. So far they’re reading their customer base well in my view. In some ways the hard part is yet to follow - that being the second truly global artist to enter NFT space via Heni. (No disrespect to MadC there). Personally I think this will come as a collab. I love the discord rumour-mill for their creativity and sense of humour on this stuff. So, in summary, customer focus and keep the ship steady Heni…
Have you done any Art? Would you care to share?
As a youth I made skate decks and did all the art on my surfboards … sadly nothing to show here …
Any tips on finding incredible NFTS or NFT Artists/Projects?
The DHC community have been my well of wisdom here - it’s always DYOR first, but the community share stuff brilliantly. I gave a free mint for Anna Judd’s Scales project to a fellow Dot, that felt really good. For me the NFT world is a chance to experience great projects - and the financial reward is there as well, but not a primary goal by any means.
What is your fave piece of Art?
I have my mother’s ink still life she exhibited at RA in the 50s.
Fave Trad Artist?
Fave NFT Artist?
Hirst
Fave band, musician or song?
The Clash - the mood music to my youth.
Fave book of all time?
Ordinary thunderstorms - William Boyd. Brilliant depiction of the fragility of our lives and what resilience we have.
Best Web3 Meme?
Has to be Sign Guy … endless amusement for any occasion.

What project other than The Currency currently excites you most?
Undoubtedly Great Expectations. There is an undercurrent of intrigue around this, great spin-off artwork from The Currency, and arguably Damian Hirst’s first true NFT project. I want a spot background badly.
Who has inspired you in NFTS/WEB3 to date
Anna Judd with the Scales project - transparent energy and commitment backing up a great concept. Also HAL, for all-round web3 understanding.
What has been the absolute highlight of your experience with NFTS/WEB3 to date?
Finding myself face to face with Damian Hirst chatting about spin paintings on the studio visit. That is without doubt a stand-out moment.
And lowest point of your experience with NFTs/Web 3 to date?
As with many I’d guess - getting scammed. It was miserable but looking back I’m impressed with my own behaviour around what could have been personally very damaging. I’m writing this from my front room, not a prison cell.
Where can people find you and/or your NFT collection? Twitter/Opensea
