What if there was a way to block people,

To better explain this, what if we had the power to control the amount of data that the internet has on us, and the power to give access to a selected few to that data.

As I type this I do not have a complete solution on making this idea work,

A rough idea would be to create an algorithm that encrypts the data of the user and stores the actual values in a separate space. The encrypted data would replace the information on the internet and the people who have access to the data will be the only ones who could have the complete context.

For example,

My Name is Aaryan Trivedi.

And my profile picture.

Two blocks of my information. If the algorithm is successful the data would be presented in a format such as

My Name is _____________________

UserImage.png(You do not have access to this image)

Now granted some people need their information to be out there because of the nature of their career or it just might be their own personal wish. And they would have the option to make it publicly available. But if they wish to redact it, they can.

I am open to discussion on the Pros and Cons of the idea, its usability and even development ideas.
