In Espacio Cripto we’re deeply committed to providing the best educational content in Spanish, growing the community in LATAM, and helping builders accelerate their path in crypto. We’ve been pursuing these objectives since 2020 and we’ve grown to become one of the largest crypto podcasts in LATAM and the largest web3 community in Mexico. The objective of this article is to communicate the activities we did to help grow Arbitrum’s dev ecosystem according to the grant we got from the Arbitrum Grants Program Developer Tooling.
We executed a virtual workshop to explain to devs how to start using Orbit to deploy their own L2 or L3. This activity was a big success with more than 1,500 people watching it. During the live stream, we got more than 600 people watching it live at some point, we live streamed it through Youtube, X, Twitch, and Instagram. Here you can watch again the workshop on how to deploy an Orbit chain.
A key element for the success of this virtual workshop is that we partnered with LeWagon, one of the largest coding bootcamps in the world with a community of more than 16,000 devs. This helped us increase our reach and that’s how we got such great results.

We executed an IRL event focused where Ana Tech, Community Manager at The Arbitrum Foundation walked the community through Arbitrum and the different tools the ecosystem has. Then Jistro, Arbitrum Ambassador, helped the participants deploy an orbit chain. We had 15 IRL devs and more than 150 people watching the livestream. A dear member of our community, Raymon created this after movie.

We published the 5 written guides we committed to:
We also published a 6th article as we saw the community demanded it: how to develop a smart contract in Arbitrum?
We created specific designs for the articles, here are some examples:

We’re honoured to keep growing the Arbitrum ecosystem, we realized how complex is writing step by step guides to help devs use technology. We faced some challenges during the first month of content creation as we needed detailed technical skills, then our great technical writer Eder joined our team and increased the quality of our deliverables. We’re really happy with the result as these guides present a comprehensive path for LATINXs devs to start getting involved in Arbitrum.
During the upcoming months we'll keep pushing this content to help grow the Arbitrum dev community in LATAM.
