If you missed our first post you can read it here, it covers:
ELI5 on our protocol structure
Our mission statement
How you fit in
In that article we outlined our first three steps. This post is about step number one… globally organize and scale the AV Club protocol.
The challenge/opportunity presented by web3 and cryptography is the ability to organize permissionlessly and globally. The prerequisite to enter the market is an internet connection and crypto wallet. If you wish to join certain brands, daos, etc within that market you usually own a digital collectible issued from the party of interest.
If you want to organize with Bored Ape Yacht Club participants you own an ape, mutant, dog, etc. If you wish to organize with Nouns DAO funding you own a noun, lil noun, etc. The structures, incentives, and purpose of each protocol are as unique as their collectibles artwork.
With that context in mind, we turn toward AV Club - the protocol that owners of Abstraverse collectibles are granted access to. Unlike BAYC (50k+ collectibles) or Nouns (Infinite supply) we are grounded in a 1000 piece cryptoart collection by LGHT.
As of October 2022 we have distributed 123/1000 collectibles. The remaining 877 collectibles will be distributed via auction. Funds from the primary sale of the 877 will be allocated to AV Club’s treasury.
These funds are meant to help expand the club, develop our influence/network, and onboard high value participants from across the globe that wish to build something unique and transformative. The protocol’s main mission is the materialization and enhancement of the cryptoart industry.
This means:
creator-centric network states (CCNS)
organizing independent talents in a manner fit for sustenance
creating tangible market value in replacement of pricelessness for art
If you need more insight on what this means, read this thread from LGHT on what a neo-renaissance looks like if we are successful.
Moving to an auction mechanism means that we will be distributing the main collection for 877 days (1 piece every 24hrs). For those 2.4 yrs we will be focused on scaling the club & hiring talent from in-house first, and then the broader digital economy.
We will be hyper focused on recruiting talent, building genuine relationships, and building toward the 2nd phase of AV Club… PRIMES (our entertainment/media arm scaled off of the native Abstraverse IP). Here are some teasers below ↓

Beyond PRIMES we will also be diligent in helping scale the cryptoart industry at the independent creator level. We have a free resource database in the works for this objective - some teasers ↓

Two and a half years seems too long for many degens but this is a nonnegotiable for us. We will optimize for the opportunity presented to us and build this thing to the best of our ability… together.
