I believe that we’re going to see an increasing amount of appchains being deployed, an alternative to trasaction on Ethereum L1 for high-throughput for demanding applications, such as Aevo. Giving an example on the other end: ENS is a rarely used application that is inherently tied to the Ethereum address naming space, and as such, there’s little upside of moving the application to it’s own chain.
