Started the first meeting at 10am and ended the last one at 11:30pm, yet I’m not sleepy because I’m still in the mood of awkwardness from today’s Twitter space.
So our bd team joined a Twitter space with one of our partners talking about new features and collab. It sounded good except the Twitter space was tragic. The host obviously scripted and read the prepared questions soulless. And the guest speakers seemed unprepared and could only give meaningless and unperceptive answers. What’s even worse is the host didn’t respond to the guests and many times simply skipped to the next questions. I got goose bump just to listen to it.
The whole crypto entertainment society is full of immature celebrity wannabes. Including Vitalik. He is like a god in crypto, but recently I feel he’s enjoying everyone’s cheering too much, started to be a bit narcissistic. I mean, look at his series of personal questions.
And all these Twitter spaces are mostly shit, they start the show just to be like a crypto native without bothering to prepare good content and production, they do it just because everyone is doing it, hosting Twitter space is so cool!
Every time I turn on Twitter and join a space, I’d be surprised at how bad the quality is. It’s worse than Clubhouse, while you might think Twitter is for most intelligent people.
The best part is, at the end of the call they invited people to ask questions, but no one volunteered, maybe because there were only 40 people listening. They could only wait there in silence, for minutes, then end the call.
I am completely not proud of working here today.
