At the opening ceremony of Qindu toll station, the reporter learned that the whole 270 km outer ring road will be completed within the year.
Xi’an outer ring expressway is located outside Xi’an Ring Expressway, with a straight-line distance of 14 to 18 kilometers and a total length of 270 kilometers. It is composed of the north section of the outer ring, the south section of the outer ring, and some sections of Lianhuo, Yushang and Shanghai Shaanxi Expressway. The route passes through Lintong district and Gaoling District of Xi’an City, Jingyang County, Liquan county and Xingping City of Xianyang City, Fuyi District, high tech Zone, Chang’an District, Lantian County of Xi’an city and Linwei District of Weinan City. It is one of the two ring roads planned by the “2367” expressway network of Shaanxi Province. The northern section of the outer ring road is 122.61 kilometers long and was completed and opened to traffic in December 2015. The south section of the outer ring road, with a total length of 70.16 kilometers, will be completed and opened to traffic within this year. After the opening of the outer ring expressway, it will alleviate the traffic pressure of Xi’an Ring Expressway, which is of great significance to expand the development framework of Xi’an, optimize the urban spatial layout, improve the traffic efficiency of the road network and serve the convenient travel of the masses.
Yesterday, the high-tech section of Xi’an outer ring expressway opened to traffic, with a total length of 16.7 kilometers, starts from Fuyi district and connects with the completed north section of Xi’an outer ring expressway. There are four interchanges in Fuyi East, Qindu, Wuxing and Xifeng, and two toll stations in Qindu and Xifeng are opened to connect Gaoxin international community, Chang’an Communication Industrial Park and future science and technology city. It is the Fuyi District, high-tech zone Provide a convenient passage between Chang’an District. In addition to the interchange area, a 16 km continuous viaduct has been built in this section, which is the longest Expressway Viaduct section in Shaanxi.
The project will focus on the construction of subgrade and recycled waste, and the use of waste in large-scale construction will be more simple. During the construction period, about 12 million tons of construction waste recycled materials were used. In the construction of bridge foundation, the driven PRC pipe pile was adopted for the first time in the province’s expressway, which eliminated noise and mud pollution and implemented the construction concept of green highway.
The project applies the Internet plus project management mode, and develops 7 sub-systems of the information system, and applies BIM technology for highway design and construction for the first time. It has been approved by the Ministry of transport as a pilot project for the construction, operation and management of Intelligent Highway in the country, a “transportation power”. BIM lightweight application achievement “BIM collaborative management system for bridge and tunnel construction” won the first prize of traffic BIM Engineering Innovation Award.
In 2022, Shaanxi traffic control group adheres to the project drive, increases investment, and strives to start 11 new projects, including the reconstruction and expansion of Xi’an Yongshou and Qujiang Taiyi palace, with a total estimated investment of 85.2 billion yuan.
