After some further deliberation, I’ve decided to switch to Substack instead as the publishing platform for our travel blog.
Two key (technical) reasons:
Mirror, the publishing platform for this blog, has recently merged with another web3-oriented publishing platform, Paragraph. It therefore seems likely that both publishing platforms will be combined together at some point. Without certainty over the long-term future of Mirror, I thought it was best to use a more established publishing platform, i.e. Substack, instead.
Both Mirror and Paragraph require a cryptographic signature via the user’s Ethereum address for publishing or amending account-related details. As I have decided not to bring the hardware wallet tied to the Ethereum address represented by the domain name, adelle-and-eugene.eth, I thought it was prudent to use a “normal” publishing platform instead, lest a cryptographic signature is required for me to publish under this domain name in the future combined platform.
For those who have subscribed to this Mirror page, I will port over your email addresses to the subscriber list in our Substack (link below). I apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We’ve also just set up our Instagram account with the same handle, @delleygene. Give us a follow there if you would like to receive more frequent updates from us. There’s nothing on our Instagram account yet, but we’ll be starting to post content soon as our departure date from Singapore (23 May) approaches.
