LayerZero is an omnichain interoperability solution designed to connect multiple chains.This allows it to:
• Seamlessly bridge assets across multiple chains
• Achieve cross-chain composability and functionality
To do so, it uses the oracle and the relayer to transfer messages from Chain A to Chain B.
This is opposed to using a singular “middle” network to relay messages (less secure).The Oracle relays generic data, and the Relayer fetches the proof of a specified transaction.

To summarise, the easiest way to think about LayerZero is by visualising it as "the ultimate interoperability layer", allowing decentralised apps to build across multiple blockchains.

---- WILL THERE BE A $ZRO TOKEN? (AND WHEN) ----
- Currently, LayerZero does not have a token YET. But we know that its token with the ticker $ZRO exists because it can be viewed on their information code. There is no official announcement of $ZRO, but the community expects it to be launching sometime in the near future.
A few other reasons it makes sense for them to launch a token:
• It's the most logical way to provide a return to investors
• Helps with community building & generates hype
• Allows them to become more decentralised (appeals to users and developers)
And if they do launch a token, then an airdrop is likely.Why?

A few tips:
Focus on getting your aggregate transaction count/volume as high as possible
• Use multiple networks
• Interact with LayerZero protocols on a regular basis.
Remember, ultimately what LayerZero is looking for is genuine interaction.
If you're using the dApps within its ecosystem, swapping, bridging and providing liquidity etc - this bodes well for your chances of receiving an airdrop.
