Spanish lawmakers estimate that 7 percent of the country's population has invested in digital currencies

Spain's National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) has estimated that 6.8% of Spain's adult population has invested part of their wealth in digital currencies. According to the report of this organization, most of these people were from high-income, educated and young people, and people with lower salaries were not attracted to digital currencies. Almost 36% of people aged 35 to 44 and only 7% of people between 55 and 70 have done so. In addition, 43.3% of Spanish investors have studied at university.
