Spring outing under the Eiffel Tower in Paris

It was dusk and the weather was gloomy. I walked all the way to the tower and soon came to the March square park at the foot of the tower. March Square Park is located in the seventh district of Paris. It is a large rectangular park. The Eiffel Tower stands in the northwest of the park like a giant sea god needle. Because of the Eiffel Tower, March Square Park has become the busiest leisure gathering place in Paris, where countless tourists and citizens spend their leisure time every day.

The southeast of the Eiffel Tower is a large rectangular green grassland. On both sides of the grassland are dense woods, which are paved with winding stone roads. The environment is deep and green. Although it is summer, the park has a cool wind and fresh air, which is very comfortable. At the end of the green grassland is the Paris military academy. This grassland used to be the place for military academy students to practice, so it is called “school practice field”.

At dusk in summer, there is a great deal of noise and excitement here. On the grass, or lovers’ eyebrows and eyes are opposite, or the whole family strolls leisurely, or friends whisper, or tourists take happy pictures. The pleasant and beautiful evening leisure time of Parisians is quietly staged under the Eiffel Tower.
