Permapages enables users to create web3 Profiles and web pages that are permanently stored on the permaweb. These pages can be linked to an ArNS (Arweave Name system), providing a human-readable domain and decentralized way to access content. I will walk you through the steps of setting up your own permapage and linking it with ArNS.

Before you can create a permapage, you’ll need an Arweave wallet. The wallet is essential for interacting with the Arweave network, storing your tIO tokens, and managing your permapage.
Download the ArConnect Wallet:
ArConnect is a browser extension that acts as your Arweave wallet. You can download it from the Official website and add it to your browser.
Create a New Wallet:
After installing the extension, open ArConnect and click on "Create New Wallet."
Follow the prompts to generate a new wallet. Be sure to securely store your seed phrase, as this is important for accessing your wallet in the future.
Fund Your Wallet:
In order for you to get an ArNS domain, you'll need tIO tokens in your wallet. You can acquire tIO tokens from Permaswap dex.

Visit the Permapages Platform:

Navigate to the Permapages website and connect your Arweave wallet via ArConnect.
After successfully connecting, you will be able to see your dashboard with options for creating a blog. creating a web page and creating a sub domain. In our case we will select “create web page”

Design Your Page:

The platform provides a user-friendly interface for creating your page. You can add text, images, videos, and other media to your permapage. You can use Markdown language or Html to create your page.
Customize the layout and style according to your needs. Since the page is permanent, ensure that everything is finalized before proceeding. However, you can edit your content anytime after which you will be provided a new transaction ID.
Deploy Your Page to the Permaweb:
Once your page is ready, click "Publish" This action will trigger a transaction on the Arweave network, permanently storing your page on the permaweb.
You need to take note of the transaction ID which we will later on link to your ArNS domain.

After your permapage is deployed, you can link it to an ArNS for easy access.
Understanding ArNS:
ArNS are simply censorship resistant domain names for permaweb dApps, web pages, data, and identities. They map to the permanent storage of your permapage, making it accessible via a human-readable link.
Registering an ArNS:

Visit the ArNS registration platform, and search for an available ArNS that suits your needs. If its available, you can register it using tIO tokens.
Linking the ArNS Domain to Your Permapage:
After acquiring the ArNS domain, go to your ArNS management interface on your top right.
Enter the transaction ID of your permapage that we saved in the Target ID field for linking resources.

Confirm the operation by clicking save, which will then finalize the linkage of your Permapage and ArNS domain.
Accessing Your Permapage:
With the ArNS linked, your permapage can now be accessed through a simple URL like aluisyo.ar.io.
Setting up a permapage and linking it to an ArNS is a straightforward process and empowers you to create and manage permanent web content. By following these steps, you can ensure that your content is not only preserved for the long term but also easily accessible through a decentralized, human-readable address.
Behold the future of web permanence, Welcome to the Permaweb!
