MIND OS 1.06 : THE FIVE PROTOCOLS

DECODING YOGA SŪTRA

The five fluctuations are: valid cognition, error, imagination, sleep, and memory.

These represent the Five Standard Protocols of the mind-field. Every packet of data that passes through awareness can be categorized into one of these five protocols. In Mind OS, understanding them is equivalent to understanding the system’s Activity Monitor.

Pramāṇa (Valid Cognition): Direct perception, logical inference, or reliable testimony.

Viparyaya (Error): False data generated by misinterpretation of the source.

Vikalpa (Imagination): Synthesized data without a corresponding external referent.

Nidrā (Sleep): A registered state of absence. Not the absence of data, but the cognition of absence itself.

Smṛti (Memory): Retrieval of previously stored data from long-term storage.

Viparyaya(谬误):由对信息源误读而生成的错误数据。
