MIND OS 1.08 : MISPERCEPTION

DECODING YOGA SŪTRA

Error is false knowledge established on a form that does not correspond to the actual object.

In Mind OS, Error (Viparyaya) is a high-level mapping failure. It occurs when the system captures a valid signal but assigns it to the wrong internal schema. It is not an absence of data, but a misalignment between input and interpretation. The cognition process executes successfully, but the output is based on an incorrect mapping.

This is a pointer error at the semantic level. The signal is real, but the reference is wrong.

If the sensor input is a “rope” but the system’s pattern-recognition algorithm identifies it as a “snake”, the resulting state is misclassified. The system remains operational, but its response logic is built on false data.

This misclassification propagates through the system, reinforcing the identity coupling described in 1.04.
