That’s why we created Ambos: we believe liquidity is essential, and everyone should be able to access it instantly and globally.

Ambos allows you to take out overcollateralized loans from your crypto asset, receive stablecoins in your wallet, and even off-ramp those stables into FIAT; all within an app just a couple of taps away. That’s right, no need to bridge, interact with who knows how many contracts, swap, pay gas, etc.: Ambos does it all for you under the hood, by leveraging tech such as account abstraction.

Our project is to revolutionize how individuals interact with DeFi lending. We believe that Aave offers one of the most secure and liquid lending markets in crypto right now, so it was only logical to utilize Aave’s lending protocol as our engine. By interacting with and proposing our project to the Aave Grants DAO team we were able to secure some funding to help us build Ambos in the open while benefiting all of Aave’s ecosystem, both from a liquidity perspective and in terms of userbase. We want to focus on onboarding the next 100, 1000, or 10.000 users who have never used the borrowing power DeFi offers to their advantage and we believe that Aave offers one of the most competitive lending protocols.

We aim to dismantle the barriers to financial tools and introduce seamless borrowing that harnesses the power of blockchain technology.
