There are numerous tourist trails on Earth, with the majority of them being easy or moderately accessible. However, there are also many hiking routes that can be compared to overcoming the most difficult obstacles. But those who manage to overcome the obstacles are rewarded with amazing views capable of causing genuine delight.
USA Appalachian Trail In the North American forests, designated as Great Smoky Mountains National Park, there is a trail consisting of only 5 million steps - 3.5 km. It lies between the mountains of Katahdin and Springer. Among the most dangerous obstacles that await travelers are encounters with huge bears, poisonous plants and snakes, insects, including ticks that carry infectious diseases. But the surrounding nature is beyond praise.

Continental Divide Trail The trail stretches almost 5 km from Mexico to Canada and is called the "Continental Divide". It includes stunningly beautiful Rocky Mountains and no less unique Red Desert. Every year, 100-200 people attempt to conquer this route.

Te Araroa Trail in New Zealand Translated from the language of the local Maori tribe, Te Araroa means "long trail." It stretches through a variety of natural landscapes, including mountains, capes, and glaciers. It is impossible to get bored here. The trail is 3,000 km long, which can be overcome at an ordinary pace in 3 months.

Sudan, Florence and Samuel Baker Trail The route is named after its first discoverers, who passed through it a century and a half ago. It starts from the capital of Sudan - the city of Juba, and leads to Lake Albert (named after the Queen of Britain's companion). Then travelers reach the place where the Nile River, flowing into Lake Victoria, forms the beautiful Kabarega Falls, 43 meters high.
