Clear EVM Wallet
I made this wallet in the course of two weeks based on Ethers, Ionic and Vue. Right now, it is built solely as a chrome extension wallet, but I used Ionic in case I will make later from the same code base a mobile/desktop variant. It implements Metamask API and should work with most websites. I used my main address to do a few transactions on Polygon, Optimism, and Gnosis. It has a nice set of refreshing features, like wiping all data, controlling all security settings, and importing or expor...

Clear Wallet at version 1.3.3
I first wrote Clear Wallet in 2022. Somewhere around August 2022, it was in the Chrome Store. I wrote it because back then, I loathed what Meta Mask offered. It was sluggish, especially when using many accounts, and it lacked the features I wanted, so I set out to write the wallet I needed. At first, I wanted an easy way to import/export accounts, manage many accounts, encrypt and decrypt private keys by prompting the user on every sign, and expose only the address of the selected account. Ma...

AI and Patents
I read an article recently about how AI can break the patents-related laws(I will not give the URL but you can probably find it by searching the mentioned keywords) and I was as expected disappointed. The article was a strong push that countries should regulate and create laws to cover this void and to grant patents for AI-generated stuff too because otherwise, no one will invest in the AI sector. First of all, I think these kinds of articles that praise patents are just paid boost of certain...

If you haven't heard about Scout Game, you should know that if you are a developer, or you want to support mostly Web3 developers, or you would like to discover cool projects, you should probably check out this website.
The project is relatively new; it's been around since 2024, and it showcases mostly Web3 developers. I've been one of its first users, and I saw it evolve, and was rather active on it.
It has some interesting game mechanics where you can use points to buy cards that represent developers.
Based on these cards, you can compete, and you will also be able to trade the cards as they are on-chain assets.
The system right now uses points and crypto for getting cards.
The points system will be deprecated in favor of an on-chain token called dev.
The token would be omni-chain and should be usable on more than one EVM chain.
This token will also have an airdrop on 21 April (4 days from now), where people who claim can also opt-in to donating their airdrop 100/100 or 50/100.
The airdrop will mostly be dropped to registered devs.
It would have been nice to be able to put in any custom percent rather than these 3 predefined(0, 50, 100).
It has managed to capture a lot of developers from the Farcaster community. I think most of them have onboarded, as it is the project leans towards “builders,” a term to define web3 developers, and doesn’t have many developers from traditional open-source communities.
I hope that this will change, and I hope the project will be able to help open-source in general.
They have a public white paper, which I read, and it looks solid with a very ambitious timeline of over a decade.
Team also said that they are not interested in pump economics, which I think is good as a stance, even if things don’t pan out as they wish, taking a stance as a principle is a good approach.

I think this kind of login is the best one with an external wallet, no social BS, web3 was made for login wallet, and I am happy to see that Scout Game is one of the few principled DApps that treat web3 natives as first-class citizens.
I hope I convinced you to take a look at the project, if not for more then take a look at what interesting open-source projects some devs have to offer.
